We are all different. How we sit, how we stand, how far we reach to use the keyboard. All of us are shaped differently but most furniture and equipment are not. And although they may work for some, other find themselves contorted, putting unnecessary strain on their bodies, simply to do their daily tasks. This is why Ergonomics has become so important to health and safety.
